The Ordinance Committee meets downstairs at the Town Hall from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of some months. The public is encouraged to attend meetings but is cautioned to check with the office to confirm that the meeting will take place.
The original members of the committee were appointed by the Hudson Municipal Officers (the Hudson Board of Selectmen) on Oct. 6, 2010. From January 2011 until March 2013, the committee was called the Hudson Comprehensive Planning Committee for purposes of dealing with the State of Maine on matters related to drafting Hudson’s plan. After passage of the 2012 Hudson Comprehensive Plan in March 2013 (see the plan under Town Information), the committee’s name reverted to its original name. The purpose of the committee is to review and recommend updates for Hudson’s ordinances to the Selectmen and the people of Hudson.
